This QA qualification is designed to provide Learners with an introduction to teaching/training in the further
education and skills sector. It is a knowledge-based teaching qualification which has no minimum teaching
practice requirement, and therefore, it may be undertaken by individuals who are not currently in a teaching
or training role.
The objective of the qualification is to benefit Learners by enabling them to attain the knowledge, understanding
and skills required to prepare them for teaching in a wide range of contexts. It will help the Learner to build
an understanding of the specific roles and responsibilities related to planning and delivering inclusive training
sessions as well as how to assess Learners giving them constructive and developmental feedback.
This 5 day course can be delivered onsite or online and includes an assessed microteach and written assignments.
